MARGARET RIVERS MILLIKAN
Margaret R. Millikan 90, died Tuesday, November 07, 2006 at the Carolina House in Bluffton, South Carolina. Mrs. Millikan was born in Washington D.C. living most her life in Savannah and Bluffton She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church where she served as a past president of the St. John’s Church Women Auxiliary and was a former secretary at the church. She was past president of the Gordonston Garden Club and served as a volunteer for over 25 years on the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph O. Millikan.
Surviving are, two sons, Robert J. Millikan of Bluffton, South Carolina, Troy R. Millikan of Gainesville, Georgia, a daughter, Virginia Barber of MacClenny, Florida, a sister, Lucy R. Weingand of Satellite Beach, Florida, a nephew, Michael Kerly, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will Friday, November 10, 2006 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Services will be Friday, November 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
